La Bodeguita Latina
Winston Salem’s newest Latin American food truck that has been catching the attention of the community.
Located in front of Compare Foods Supermarket, inside Parkway Plaza shopping center. La Bodeguita Latina introduces a quick peek at South American cuisine. The owner, Mariela Jimenez, is very excited to share the taste of her motherland Colombia, as well as a variety of dishes from many Latin American countries.
A popular choice among customers are: Empanadas- Tasty crescent shaped meatpockets - as well as Tequeños, - a Venezuelan, mouthwatering, deep-fried, queso blanco cheese-stick, wrapped with bread dough in a spiral fashion.
These appetizing hors d’oeuvres now at our reach, serve as a delightful opportunity to engage with authentic flavors from different nationalities
at the city we call home.
