Kwahu Local Guides is proud to announce our first ever photowalk during this year’s Easter Festival. Kwahu Easter is the annual Easter celebrations at the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region of Ghana. People from all walks of life and all nationality throng to the Kwahu Hills every Easter to celebrate the three-day-long holiday. Activities include paragliding, carnivals and street jams. Hiking the Odweanoma Mountain in Atibie is an activity that visitors explore during their short stay in Kwahu. Visitors take a hiking expedition to the mountain through the ‘Nkofieho’ Caves of Life. The journey to the caves area itself is a unique experience through a typical forest. We are starting off from Nkawkaw stadium (the paragliding landing site), just to take some fantastic photos and then moving to Atibie before hiking the Odweanoma Mountain with many fantastic opportunities to take awesome photos. In this event, we will try to update Maps accessibility information and accessibility questions on Google Maps by visiting other important sites such as Abetifi (the highest habitable point in Ghana).
