Kunming international airport is the primary Kunming airport serving the capital of Yunnan Province, China.
Kunming Changshui International Airport and Ürümqi Diwopu International Airport are the two national gateway hub airports of China. This airport of China is the terminus of Line 6 of the Kunming Metro, which opened on the same day as the airport. It is also connected to Kunming (Chinese Prefecture-level City), by a 13 km toll highway, as well as Provincial Road S101. There are also several shuttle bus services available from the city center. The airport features an escalator circular service for the passengers to ease the action of getting to the plane.
