Kulikuli and Garri

The weather is hot today in the city of Jos. I need to chill myself with Garri (cassava flakes) with cold water and sugar, the garri needs to be company with kulikuli ( Groundnut cake).

Kulikuli is made from groundnut that is fried and milled, after milled we used the oil that is extracted from the groundnut to fried it. Garri is made from cassava after its been processed… It is called students power in most higher institutions in Nigeria, because most Nigeria students likes garri. I like garri and kulikuli…

Hey @Markie007

Thanks for sharing this easy snack with us. You should also post it on Share-Your-favourite-Comfort-meal

In Turkey our favourite student meal is I think pasta. That’s what we used to love to cook with our flatmates.

by the way. The only African food I know is Fufu. Which I really love. And I can make some beef with Okhra but I’m not sure if I can catch the same taste as my friends from Gambia.

It looks really delicious @Wei929

I tried my first chia-quinoa pancakes today. Nothing fancy for the eyes… but they were ok

of course brother @Markie007

I was volunteering as a German as foreign language teacher in Berlin in an African association (specially for refugees from Gambia). We used to organize solidarity dinner parties every week. The whole neighborhood came together and it was a lot of fun cooking.

Indeed bro @Markie007

One of the best ways of socializing is to participate and show commitment to activities in your neighborhood. If there is nothing start to build a small circle of same minded people, maybe your friends from the gym, a chess or hiking club and organize meetings. It is in our hands to change the world. Why bot starting with it in our neighborhood and backyards.

@Markie007 I speak only Spanish but I use the google translator to read others’ posts
