Whether you are a spiritualist, atheist or believer, a worshipper of Shiv or an artist who loves strong hues or simply a travel freak who likes to discover new places with loads of awesomeness, then this place offers something for everyone.
KotiLingeshwar is reachable from Bengaluru by a good road which has scenic beauty comprising of huge boulders amid bushes. So we did not miss a chance to stop by for a while and climb the huge rocks which was a little adventure.
Arriving at Kotilingeshwar, there is huge parking which is a bit away from the temple so carry of drinking water or energy drinks since you have to walk a lot since there is only one way to proceed and you are not allowed to walk back.
The special thing about this place is the presence of thousands of Shivling which are place in neatly constructed platforms that painted vividly giving you plenty of photo spots.
There are open and covered lanes to make it easy to reach every lingam from very close though no one is allowed to touch them.
There is both a massive statue of the Nandi and also a huge Lingam.
Overall it is both a pleasure and spiritual trip at a very short distance from Bengaluru and one can visit with both friends, family, or just solo since you will never feel alone amidst the high-spirited atmosphere of this place.

Hello @TusharSuradkar ,
Thank you for sharing your visit to this place and these beautiful photos with us.
Nandi the bull looks impressive on the first picture!
Is there a particular period where one should visit this place?

Thank you @BorrisS
It can get very warm in the summer between March to June and heavy rains from July to October, so the best time to visit is November to February when the weather is pleasant. I should have mentioned this before. Thanks for pointing.

Thank you @TusharSuradkar .
Your story about your trip to KotiLingeshwar is very interesting.
I have a question for you .
The statue of Nandi made of solid stone or solid bronze ?
Keep calm, stay healthy and always be happy.

Thank you
@BudiFXW
The statue is made of a mix of concrete and fiberglass composite.
Your activity and contributions as a local guide are phenomenal…!!
Especially, looking at the link in your signature about helping small businesses, it appears from the article that you engaged them mostly with Google Maps. This interests me since also have been interacting with local business and involved them in additional Google apps like Hangout for chatting and Google Sheets. Do you think this is a wise thing to do as a local guide and that Google would appreciate it?

Thank you for the information about Nandi Statue.
What I do to help Small Business owner is not breaking Local Gudes Program Rules.
I always introduce my self as Local Guide, volunteer that contribute on Google Map to make it better and useful for everybody including Small Business owner.
It is a time for us to give back what we found convenience as Google Maps Google search engine user.
Local Guides Program Rules is very strict. So we should proud. It is not easy to be a Local Guide until this moment.
I have many friends who are suspended because violating the Progra Rules.
Hope this will answer your question.
