Kooza Cirque du Soleil under the Big Top Oracle Park in San Francisco
Seeing Cirque Du Soleil has been on my bucket list for years. I always thought I might have get on the plan and fly to Las Vegas to see it. Imagine my delight when I saw the Kooza version of this live circus performance would be showing an hour’s drive (in good traffic) away from me in San Francisco. I quickly secured tickets to this event.

The drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to get into San Francisco was well worth it. The amazing scenic views across the bridge make it well worth it. Parking in Lot A of the Oracle Park was easy to find and very close to the Big Top Entrance. We arrived early so there were was plenty of prime parking spaces available on a first come first served. Once at the entrance, we passed through the very friendly security bag search area. There were two large photo-op banner areas for selfies with Kooza. One with Kooza in yellow/red stripe and the other blue costumes.
It was good to see accessible seating readily available. I wish I had more photos to show you but I sat in shock with my mouth hanging open in amazement eighty-five percent of the live performance. These acrobatic moves were performed with sheer genius. These folks must be double or triple-jointed to be able to perform these gymnastic-like moves. The aerial acts performed hundreds of feet in the air on tight ropes complete with various types and lengths of bikes, fire, and pole performances left me breathless. Kooza appeared in a variety of costumes with the performing comedians that gave belly laughing acts to the crowd full of the young and young at heart. The live band with singers in colorful costumes sang lots of sing-along-songs that kept the rhythmic atmosphere electrified. There is plenty of port-a-potty’s available for restroom use when needed. Lots of hefty priced snacks, souvenirs, and upgrades were available for purchase. This non-animal-involved circus performance has come along way from when I was a kid. I still may fly to Vegas just to see this again! It was amazing!
