So recently I was on a trip to Puri, Odisha and I visited one of the most beautiful architectural masterpiece of 13th century, KONARAK TEMPLE also known as The Sun Temple.
It is also an UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE known for its brilliant architectural works.
The main Temple, KONARAK, THE SUN TEMPLE.

@InaS thank you so much for the appreciation. So, why this is called Sun Temple has long history also historian argues few reasons. One of them is the temple was built in 13th century and designed as the Chariot of SUN GOD, SURYA, with a twelve pairs of ornamented wheels pulled by seven horses. Also people says that this temple has no shadow during daytime which is not true actually.
