What a wonderful writeup and beautiful pictures of Komodo lizzard. @Giuseppe7980

I have never seen it before.

Do the lizzard have venom like other reptiles?

Is the reptile friendly with humans? Because I see a picture of a beautiful lady sitting close to the lizzard?

I like “most” of your photos @Giuseppe7980 but I have to ask is the lady seen in your last photo a lizard wizard? I mean yes I think I can see that she has a stick in her hand but these giant lizards are known to occasionally attack humans.

@Giuseppe7980 I have been to Komodo and have seen these giant lizards in action. I personally wouldn’t have been anywhere near them not without a Komodo National Park ranger in attendance, and most certainly not sitting on a rock with my back to them. As others, including fellow Local Guides may one day go there, I think it’s important to mention the potential dangers.

No need to apologize @Giuseppe7980 all good and I’m really happy that you recognise the need to mention the risks in situations like this.

@Giuseppe7980 Thank you for sharing such beautiful photos. I like the second mostly. The lizard in it seems to be such relaxed!

It’s hard to say looking at photos, that the lizards can be dangerous.

The Lizard Not Always are Dangerous But is Always Better not risk. You never know if they like what you are doing or no.

In That case the lizard were full for the bufalo and we were few people and they are not scared.
