Being selected as a local guide for my community has allowed me to share information that I like to know when we travel. I try to put myself into other people’s shoes when I write my reviews or answer questions so that when someone looks up a store or restaurant, they can be confident that they have made the right choice for their meal or shopping or entertainment needs! Long before I contributed to Maps and Local Guides, I was always on the lookout for independent businesses to support both in Medicine Hat and anywhere we travel, so being able to add my thoughts in has, I hope, helped others when they have been searching for somewhere new as well!
