The 16th century “Kondarama Temple” centrally protected as Monuments of National Importance by Archaeological Survey of India located at Ontimitta, A.P., India.
There is a story about the devotees who built the Temple, two robbers who turned devotees off Lord Rama, after constructing this temple they turned in to Stone Statues.
The Saint-poet Annamacharya composed and sang so many devotional songs (Keertanas) at this temple.
You can see the 16th Century Vijayanagara Kings architecture on every side of the Temple. The central tower (Gopuram) built in five stairs.
This place is very peaceful, holistic and historic place with open air theater with requisite sculptures.
