I have been planning a family trip abroad for about 6 months, at the beginning I planned based on the experience I got when I worked in a travel agency, I knew how to get to that new country, I knew the requirements to enter the country and I knew exactly Where to go and what places to visit.
However, my doubts continued, even with the doubts I bought the flights and the lodging and I was completely sure that it would go well.
During these 6 months, I remembered that in Google maps it is possible to check in addition to the traffic, information on how to get from one point to another and the duration of the transfer, as well as opinions of tourist places and it was so that using Maps I managed to find a transfer service from the airport to the hotel at very accessible prices and also locate the different means of transport of that city and its costs, including the hours and frequencies of passage of them, with precise instructions of how long it would take me to walk around from my hotel to the main stop.
Since then I use maps for almost everything, it is surprising as a single tool contains all kinds of data and information and helps you a lot to plan a trip or to decide which restaurant to visit or at what time a famous place is more mirrored. Now I have a list of places I want to meet during the family trip and I have more information on how to move around the city and this has helped me to better plan my time and get an estimate of expenses I will make for the trip and this type of information in any travel agency is offered, so I feel calmer with respect to the trip, and through this it was also that I decided on the hotel that I chose, likewise I have started to use this tool to keep track of all the places that I have already known and I even created a list of the magic towns of my country to be able to know later and I love that through location history I can remember where I was when I traveled before.
I think a google map is a powerful tool not only for my purpose but for much more and to be able to have information that other people provide of the places or places is incredible because then the experience of a trip can be improved.
