KLCC Park aka Central Park of Kuala Lumpur

KLCC Park is amazing park right at the heart of the city.

KLCC Park is a 50 acre garden area filled with locals and tourists visiting all the time. It was made to have some greenery among the high rise buildings. KLCC Park has over 1,900 indigenous trees from 74 species.

The park also has a playground and a children’s swimming area and it is absolutely free. Locals and tourists can bring their children to dive in during the hot weather.

The park also has a 10,000sqm manmade lake that makes the entire area super calm with the reflection of the lake. There’s a beautiful whale sculpture made out of metal right in the middle of the lake which is so beautiful. There’s a jogging track that goes up to 1.3km and yoga classes on weekends. A suitable spot for fitness lovers.

The main highlight of KLCC Park is the lake symphony! Just like the one in Dubai, this lake symphony is so nice to watch with the Petronas Twin Towers in the background. The lake lights up at 7:30pm and the lake symphony starts at 8:00pm every night. Tourists and locals sit around the lake to enjoy the scenery and to take tons of photos and videos. Professional photographers come here to take time lapse videos all the time.

KLCC Park is best for its amazing view of the epic skyline and greenery in the center of the city. Most of the areas are wheelchair friendly. There’s no dress code to this area but be sure to get a hat and sunblock, it might get up to 33°C in the day.

Hello @Krisherfire thanks for sharing. I’ve been to Suria KLCC and Petronas Twin Tower on a Saturday night before. It was so crowded. But I really admire the architecture of Petronas Twin Tower.

Hey @Velvel ,

Glad you visited KLCC. Sadly they don’t allow pets to the park.
