Kitesurfing in Mui Ne, Vietnam

?? Mui Ne is a small Paradise for kitesurfers! The winds are quite stable from October till March. The waves are present, but not too high. Good for beginners.
?? The number of kite schools is impressive, with English & Russian speaking instructors.
Medium level riders will also find the challenge here in high density of kitesurfers, strong winds & pleasant waves for jumps.
?? Be aware: The main tourist audience is Russian. In the shops, restaurants & hotels there is more Russian speaking Vietnamese stuff then English speaking.

I’ve spent 1 winter there about 10 years ago as a kite- and windsurfer. The best month was february, every day windy enough for a 9m kite. But I think it’s not a beginner friendly spot, the waves at the entrance are too big and powerful, even for advanced was hard to go through. And lot of kites in the air and lot of crashes with each other. The water seems dirty brown. But overall the spot is good enough and even with tourist prices it’s still cheap.
