[Kimberly's Tokyo Hanami Trip🌸] #05 Hanami and Japanese food🌸🍜 ……And Mixed Martial Arts!?🥊

Japan lover @KimberlyAnnG, Let’s enjoy the civilian Tokyo today🎌

Businessmen commuting by train often have breakfast at "立ち食いそば Tachigui soba":ramen:. Tachigui soba refers to Japanese buckwheat noodles that you eat quickly while standing:running_woman:. Somehow Japanese have no time:thinking:. Actually there is a chair, but it also means “stand up and eat = finish eating quickly.”

Tachigui soba is very cheap😍. This is the most famous soba shop open 24 hours a day. It is in the whole Japan🗾.

上野恩賜公園 Ueno Onshi Park” is the birthplace of modern Hanami🌸. In addition, it is said that there are raw woods of the most common cherry blossoms variety “染井吉野 Somei Yoshino” in Japan.

Today’s Hanami means having a picnic on a leisure seat at night with a drink🍻. In a famous place, it may be secured while staying from several days ago😮!!

Unfortunately we didn’t have much time, so we watched flowers while eating cute square bread:panda_face::yum:. Why is it a panda? Because there is a zoo with pandas in the neighborhood:panda_face::heart_eyes:!

View the cherry blossoms of the Japanese garden at the very large "新宿御苑 Shinjuku Gyoen":cherry_blossom:. Too many people are having a picnic, but it is never crowded because it is more extensive.

There is also a huge Platanus tree lined image of France! Here you will find gardens in England, France and Japan.

@KimberlyAnnG is a style to return to the hostel once in the evening for a break and photo editing. So we decided to take traditional Japanese food on the rooftop of the hostel! "みそ汁 Miso soup" and "おにぎり Onigiri (rice ball)":rice_ball::bowl_with_spoon::yum:!! This combination will make you image most Japanese among the Japanese food🗾.

When I returned to the lobby she had a “指圧 Shiatsu massage” at the entrance of the hostel😆! She acclaimed that “Shiatsu massage is better than general massage😍!!” Because Japan’s shiatsu is a medical practice of national qualifications👇.

Now that she feels good, let’s of course eat ice cream. It is a “ちょうちん最中 Chouchin Monaka (lantern Monaca)” from Asakusa. And let’s eat the “焼き鳥 Yakitori (grilled chicken*)*” that is sold a lot at the stalls in the Hanami area🌸. The crisp texture of Chouchin Monaka is excellent😋!

And I went to buy Tokyo style "長命寺桜餅 Chomeiji Sakura Mochi (Rice Cake)" at the birthplace shop🍡. There is also an Osaka style, which is very different. The salted cherry leaves imbibe the taste of the cherry into the Rice Cake. You can enjoy the smell of cherry blossoms more by eating leaves. If you want to enjoy the sweetness of sweet bean paste, peel off the leaves. There is no rule on how to eat😋.

We were invited to the Ryogoku Kokugikan from @HimanshiS at night. What does it start🤔?? The Ryogoku Kokugikan is a stadium that will be the base of sumo wrestling💪.

It was watching the important game of the World Champion of Mixed Martial Arts😆!! I didn’t think I and @KimberlyAnnG could also watch martial arts on a trip to Japan! Thank you very much @HimanshiS !!

I entered a major cheap cafe where vegetarians can eat late at night☕. @HimanshiS is happy to act with us. It’s because she can know the new store. Similarly we are very happy to be with her!! I think this is a good friend of the local guide and a good relationship🙏.

Well, what shall we do tomorrow?

@YasumiKikuchi is there a difference between the flowers when they are light pink, pink, and almost red. I noticed that one of the pictures the blossoms on the tree where different colors

You notice that it is important @Twister411 !!

I explained that to @KimberlyAnnG in detail. The largest number of cherry blossoms we call “Hanami” is the pale pink Somei Yoshino. There are 10 other major varieties. Every color is different🌸

Hi @JaneBurunina I’m glad you enjoyed my post!

Although we did not have a thorough plan, it resulted in a perfect experience as an international meet-up of Local Guides🤝. Probably because @KimberlyAnnG 's luck is good😆!

@YasumiKikuchi and @JaneBurunina I feel that having a thorough plan would have hampered our efforts to experience as much as possible. I prefer to travel this way! Make a Google Maps List of the things that are most important for you and then take each day individually.

Several times, we would head out for a meal at a restaurant and arrived to find it closed or closed for a private party. Those things don’t always show on maps so if you have a good list, you can just choose the next closest one!

When making your way around the city to see various sites, it makes a lot more sense to pick one major one and see everything else in the vicinity! Most of the days on this trip were spent doing exactly that. We saw the most amazing things and not just the things that were on my personal List.

:heart::heart::heart: Japan is amazing! I hope you all get a chance to visit someday.

Thank you for admiring our culture @KimberlyAnnG
As you agree, the style of our trip is free thanks to the google maps list. We are changing our physical condition and fatigue every day, and the weather is changing dramatically. More than that, the interest of the day changes greatly:joy:! In order to act as our feel, we should be free to some extent. In addition, we may encounter additional experiences that we do not anticipate:open_mouth::smiley:. I did the same style in Seattle and Portland:cityscape:
