I am passionate about finding and sharing kids friendly places because travelling with kids can be difficult and tiring if not well planned ahead of time. Thus providing necessary information helps many families to have a happy and fun-filled vacation.
Recently we visited Macau with our to kids, our five year old son and eleven month old daughter. We were travelling from India, so we took flight from India to Hong Kong and further ferry from Hong Kong Sky pier to outer harbour of Macau. The travel is very convenient even with kids on board. Carrying a stroller for kids is a very convenient way to travel.
Free shuttles are available from the ferry terminal to reach the hotel. Also taxis are a very convenient mode of travel in Macau. However one need to know the name of the destination in local language (concierge at your hotel can help you with the same).
We stayed at Hotel Grand Sheraton at Cotai central. Here all the hotels are very well inter-connected and reaching one place to the other with kids is not a hassle.
The only inconvenience that we experienced is availability of baby food. No local daily needs stores are available in the vicinity, so, you cannot afford to forget any baby and kid essentials.
We had stacked up all the necessary food items from back home that made our travel and stay in Macau stress free and fun-filled.
