“Khaidi” in Tamil and few other indian language means “Prisoner”. This is an Italian Cuisine Restaurant, located in Chennai, Alwarpet. A different kind of restaurant, where the bearers and floor managers are dressed in Jail costumes to give you an impression as if you are in Jail. The dishes are very different and tasty. It’s a pure vegetarian restaurant and will not get idli/dosa etc. Steamed Momos are excellent, Lasagna is very good in taste, which you may not get easily other vegetarian restaurants. Mocktail “Deep blue sea” is excellent. These are signature dishes for this restaurant."
