  1. Elephanta/Gharapuri Caves- A UNESCO world heritage site has history dating back to the 5th century CE, the five Hindu caves and two Buddhist caves served as places of worship until the 1500s.   5. Gateway of India- This monument designed with Indo-Islamic, Indian and Roman influences, is located in South Mumbai. It was built to commemorate the landing of King George V and Queen Mary.
