As, I have firstly Posted a Post on travelling to Munnar town in Kerala. It was the best vacation trip of my life. Now, I will write travel post on another city which I have visited in Kerala.
The other city which I have visited in Kerala is Thekkady, Alleppey, Kovalam and Trivandrum. In this I will write a post on Thekkady. Thekkady is situated in Idukki district near Periyar National Park in hilly area in Kerala. It has the best view and the climate is very pleasant. Thekkady is very famous for spice plantation. You can explore a wide variety of spices in this town and will get a great knowledge on spices which grows in Kerala. It is situated in hilly area and in morning you will find everywhere foggy cloudy weather.
Another place which Thekkady is famous for is Periyar National Park. It is very famous for its natural green beauty. It has significant species such as tigers, elephant and other marine animal such as fish, reptiles. This is a place where you find lot of adventure’s, peace and lot of green still beauty. The park is spread through out 257 square miles and the river Pamba and Periyar flow through it. The other attractions of the national park are to enjoy a boating in Periyar lake by simply sitting at back of lake and see a great variety of species in jungle. And lot of different activity are available in this park and it opens at 6:00 am in morning and closes at 7:00 pm in evening. The night safari starts after 8:00pm in night.
The other tourist attraction is Mundra cultural center at Thekkady. It is very famous for kathakali art which is traditional dance of Kerala State. Another show is marshal art which is also very famous of this place.
The Thekkady is great town to visit in Kerala state for exploring the Periyar National Park, Jungle Safari, and it feels energetic, fresh, and enthusiastic when you are at Gods own country #Kerala.
