Hi @GYuge I didn’t know that Kenya was the world’s third largest tea producer! That’s really interesting as i thought Kenya would be too dry. Thank you for sharing.
Hi too @AdamGT haha…glad you’ve known.It is actually…China leads followed by India then Kenya…among others from my research.Kenya isnt dry at all cause I’m also thriving if I should say grass from our side are green too.
This is beautiful! @GYuge Thank you for sharing. Is it a seasonal farming thing around you or it is an all year round thing?
All the photos capture is very attractive to catch the attention of all.Environment of the places also very neat and clean. very excellent captures G yuge.
Thank youuu @Nuhuu for your post
Yes it does…but plucking is done from March all through to October…The 1st flush is picked during March which is the most delicate tea coming out during that season.
The 2nd can be done in btn depending with the current growth or maturity if ready.
So the tea trees or should I say trunks are normally intact in farms unless you decide to uproot them and plant something else in compensation.So I’ll go will all year from your question since where I’ve posted above is actually my home too
-Hope the answer is satisfying.
Much appreciation @DebadattaMeher
Yes,actually I also love the fresh air and less pollution from this side.All greened up.
Thanks alot for your commentary.
@GYuge Thanks for the information about Kenya`s tea production. Also Kenya has an important touristic point like Amboseli National Park where are offered wonderful views of Tanzania’s 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro.
@alint yes yes…I second that
We have a whole bunch of your wish list(want to go)places…It might seem tiny on map,but holds alot!!!thanks again @alint …another touristic place…you all need to try the sandy beaches.
