Keeping Healthy During Lockdown

It’s important for everyone to take good care of their health during lockdown. Make sure you’re eating foods that are high in protein and fibre. And don’t forget to exercise. :person_in_lotus_position:t4::male_sign: :weight_lifting_man:t4::female_sign: :person_playing_handball:t3::male_sign: :person_cartwheeling::male_sign:

Hey @sailorbright ,

Sounds delicious, thanks for sharing your photos with us. Did you cook it by yourself or you had some help? I also try to eat healthy and home cooked food as much as possible. I tend to keep less sweets so that I don’t get tempted. Exercise is important, too.

We are waiting to see more of your kitchen creations! :slightly_smiling_face:

@MoniDi hello :wave:t4: lovely to meet your acquaintance.

To answer your question, I cooked this food on my own for our household.

Absolutely agree. It’s important to eat healthy. Although a treat every now and then doesn’t hurt. That said, all sweets in moderation.

Do you cook? Maybe you’d like to share some of your food and recipes as well? :cherry_blossom: :hibiscus:

@sailorbright That looks good!!! :yum: Being locked up at home made me think about the importance of growing my own vegetables. When this is over, I would love to have my own orchard. In the meantime, I try to maintain a balanced diet, take walks around the house’s backyard and I exercise and do some yoga with YouTube tutorials. .I hope that you and your family are safe and I send you a warm greeting from Argentina :hugs:

@CaroGuiniazu Wow Argentina has the best food from what we’ve seen on television with traditional BBQ festivities. :revolving_hearts: Wonderful to meet your LG acquaintance. You’ve got the right idea for growing your own. We all need to start making an effort towards this kind of living. It’s healthy and it’s better for planet earth. Overall it’s environmentally more sustainable.

You’d probably appreciate my next lot of food photos … :revolving_hearts: :tulip:

Hey @sailorbright ,

Thanks for asking. I rarely cook these days but if I cook, I will definitely make some healthier version of a sweet dessert. Most often I bake muffins with oats, eggs, bananas, cinnamon, milk and nuts and dried fruits. It smells delicious and it’s a different kind of breakfast than the usual oatmeal. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos to share.

@MoniDi appreciate your response a long with your openness regarding healthy food types.

I’m so appreciative of world-wide food and culture. There’s so much to learn, practIce, see and do.

People have different ideas, different ways of living and various methods of cooking. It’s super fascinating. For the most part, there’s nothing more satisfying than being a part of another culture and learning unique ways that are different from your own cultural customs.

Mmm your muffins sounds delicious. The aroma that travel through the house makes is more of a home. The smell of food is heart warming and inviting.

If you ever ever get a chance to share some photos. I’d love for you to direct your photos at me so I don’t miss appreciating them.

A delightful pleasure :revolving_hearts: :bouquet:
