Thanks a lot for this nice post @Nyainurjanah . In Bangladesh we have a local cake/Pitha which is known as Vapa Pitha Dodongkal seems similar to our Vapa Pitha. We use rice flour, coconut and jaggery to make the vapa pitha. Stay safe. Regards.

Yes I think same , only different name , now I know Bapa pitha is blame version of Bangladesh ,but more cute and small version .the taste I’m sure really delicious .

Hot (not spicy) Vapa pitha is very popular during the winter morning in Bangladesh @Nyainurjanah During with evening people also eat this delicious pitha from street vendors also. Thanks for your nice comments. Regards.

No not really sweet ,sweet only part of brown sugar only because without mixed ,do not worry .

Dodogkal menu enak untuk sarapan, terutama jika masih terasa kehangatan seteah dikukus.

Gurih dan manis.

Bentiknya seperti kerucut karena saat dikukus menggunakan kukusan yang terbuat dari anyaman bambu berbentuk kerucut (cone), agar bisa nyangkut pada saat dimasukkan kedalam dandang tembaga.

Saya makan dodongkal sejak dijajakan dengan cara dipikul keliling kampung sampai dengan gerobag dorong yang mangkal di perapatan.

Hatur nuhun Nyai sudah berbagi.
