Growing up in Kathmandu, I was lucky to witness temples that our ancestors built. I remember playing hide and seek around temples and it was an awesome feeling. Fast forward 40 years and nowadays temples have been hard to find among the concrete jungle. The population has grown more than 5 times and it is pretty hard to locate the temples unless you use maps.
I still remember when tourists used to get lost 40 years ago. But nowadays there are better solutions available. Google Map, for instance, takes you to the destination with ease. One can even do a virtual tour of some cities. So, next time you’d like to visit temples in Kathmandu, just fire up your Google Map and you will have no problem getting there.
