Karla Caves are ancient complex caves. This caves are Buddhist rock cut caves. This is just 10 Km away from very popular hills station Lonavala. This was in develop from 2nd Century BC to 5th century AD. This caves are one of the oldest Buddhist Caves. Bhaja Caves are as same as this caves which are just 5 km away from this Karla Caves. Even Lohgad Fort is just 10 km away from this Caves.

Are they still using these caves, or they’re only for the turists? Do you know the story, how the Buddhists cut them? How can you get there?
