Kaptai : Kayaking, Swimming, Lake View and Camping

Winter is knocking on the door in our Bangladesh. And here winter is the perfect time for camping. Kaptai Lake is one of the popular place for camping in winter. Actually, people enjoy the fog of winter morning. Here has some cottage and parks. They provide the facilities for camping. Kaptai Lake is the largest lake in Bangladesh. The lake was created as a result of building the Kaptai Dam on the Karnaphuli River, as part of the Karnaphuli Hydro-electric project. I visited the place several times. And today I’m sharing some photos of this place. I used my Redmi Note 7S to take pictures.

This place is also popular for kayaking. Some points here offer kayak rentals. They give instructions on how to kayak and some rules of do’s and don’ts. They also give life jacket for safety. So, you need not worry even if it is your first time kayaking.

At Kaptai you can:

• Spend the night in cottage/tents here (you can rent it)
• Barbecue
• Watch clouds and stars
• Swimming
• Kayaking
• Boat Riding

At Kaptai you can visit:

• Panorama Zoom Restaurant And Kayak Club
• Kaptai Kayak Club
• Proshanti Park and Picnic Spot
• Kaptai Dam
• Sheikh Russell Aviary and Eco Park

**They charge for park entry, cottage, tents, kayaking, boat riding and foods. (It’s variable)
