Kannur City : Meet-up inspire to explore the local heritage and history.

First ever scheduled meet-up happened in the heritage city was end up with a basic awareness about the local Heritage and History.

Kannur City Meet-up started from Arakkal Museum and visited Arakkal Palace Ground, Old Arakkal Palace, Bell Tower, Old Horse courtyards, reception area of Old Port, Kannur City Juma Masjid, martyrs Graveyard, Old Market building and Old Institutional buildings etc.

A brief intro deleivered by Local Heritage expert Muhammed Shihad, Researcher at Arakkal Museum and Travel Photographer Shahan Samad explained how creative art and Photographs can play a vital role to preserve local history and heritage for the upcoming generation.

8 Youngsters attend in 3-hour long meet-up and concluded the event near to the Old Port area on the bank of the Arabian Sea.

Thanks to google for having this technological advantage for our generation, this is our first meet-up & through this event we get connected as well.

We will planning more local place to explore with experts , it’s helps us to learn all historical importance and support to preserve heritage.

We are planning to establishing Travel Cafe at our place to support all travelers and researchers very soon.
