Hello Fellow local guides,
Im sorta new and dabble with this but im curious about who and what types of people are doing this. Im 47yrs old retired Military so i have the time to do it if im able to get off my lazyboy haha. Would like some tips or advice or someone to talk to. Thats all. Oh, and to make sure im not crazy for being a google fact checker for
hi honeybuns. I do local guides as much as possible. I’m homeless, so I thought as much as I’m walking around town, I might as well do something. I enjoy Google and their products, so local guides was a no brainier. Hit me back if you have any questions.

From my days as a Local Guide and being on the Local Guides team, I can share that Local Guides are a really diverse group of folks who just have a passion for contributing and editing Maps to make sure everyone has access to the correct and most updated information, probably just like you do. 
Local Guides is a huge community and you can almost find a Local Guide anywhere you go. If you don’t already know, you can meet other Local Guides at meet-ups in the cities near you!
