Many of us travel inside or outside the country, and this gives them the right to be local guides for Google Map. I suggest that the local guide be a paid job from Google, because travel costs a lot of money. Besides, if the local guide becomes an employee with a paid job, it is easier for him to move more and more easily and makes it easier for others to benefit greatly from being a local guide. This is my suggestion to Google and I hope that you all support it as local guides. Perhaps Google will respond and give us some income from this feature. Waiting for your opinion and participation
Hi @Luckistone I see you’re new so welcome to Connect. You don’t need to travel extensively to be a Local Guide. The key word is “Local” - while you will certainly have opportunity to contribute great content while away from home travelling the best content for your local community is local content.
Keep everything near home up to date. Not as glorious as being paid to travel the world perhaps but loads of fun anyway and you directly help the people around you, their businesses and the places of interest. You literally put your home area on the Map.

Hi @Luckistone ,
Welcome to Connect! : ]
In addition to what @PaulPavlinovich kindly mentioned, as I just wanted to also share that the program won’t provide support in any kind of financial form as it is against the Program Rules.
Because it is the place for discussion for Local Guides - a global community of Google Maps members who want to contribute to making Google Maps information more accurate and useful for others.
