My journey as a Local Guide began when I first started my university and met my professor who is a huge Google fan. He properly introduced me to Google and its products. And one of those was Google Maps. Before that, I didn’t use Google Maps often or in detail. Ever since that day I have become a die-hard fan of Google and its products. Google Maps did not only just help me in navigation but it also helped me find out new places that I should try out with my friends. Not only that Google Maps also introduced me to this wonderful app Google Trips - Travel Planner when my brother was going to Egypt so that he may plan his trip accordingly and carefully.
And since Google Maps helped me so much I figured I should return the favour by becoming the Local guide and help the community to find the right things and guide them accordingly and I must say I have been fairly successful in doing so. My share of being a Local Guide has mostly been correcting locations, providing correct information and providing reviews and answering questions. Yet I feel like there is always room for improvement and I can contribute more to being a Local Guide
