For me Local guide program was an enriching journey, from being a local guide to a global guide. This platform helped me to express the beauty of the world. Although I become local guide by matter of chance but once I started uploading photos and reviews it become my passionate job. I love photography.
According to me a guide tell you where to go, how to go, what to see, what to taste and also share their perspectives and thoughts.
Before a decade when people used to travel, they used to ask from local people which place or food is good, now Google local guide does the same job and he does this job more efficiently, Also has helped to express the world through the eyes of a guide. I get immense pleasure by helping people through this amazing platform.
When giving Q & A or reviewing a place on goggle maps like wheel chair accessible parking or entry , I feel enlightened that my efforts may help the needy.
Also I took videos of road so that travelers or drivers know what is the quality of road or if pot holes are there driver can take necessary precautions while driving and avoid accidents.
The program is like an opportunity to get knowledge of world with local guide from the entire globe and know the world better and know new methods to help community which every local guide does in one or another way.
I also believe that some time a place or way is isolated or not secured for woman then a prompt should be there that is it safe to go alone or some help button in case if by chance someone in danger zone, i would be happy to share locations of such places,thereby enhancing the security of women.
