During my trip to Taipei, I happen to visit Jiufen, a mountain city about 2 hours from Taipei. A lot of articles claimed that Jiufen is the city that inspired Hayao Miyazaki put the ornament on his animation movie Spirited Away.
Jiufen is a paradise for people who love to shop and hunting local culinary. A narrow lane with shops and restaurants. I had to beat the crowd to explore this narrow lane. Don’t forget to try bubble tea and stinky tofu while in Taiwan.
