JFGI!! Just Freakin' Google It

I moved to Hyderabad when I was 18. I was new to the city and to the whole thing of staying away from home. Since hostel food is rarely edible, I frequently used to eat out with my friends. Safe options being Dominos and Subway and occasionally trying out some local places like 13 Dhaba, Udipi’s Upahar, etc. After 2-3 bad dining experiences, I started asking people before visiting the restaurants. But I didn’t want to limit my options to my friends’ tastes. So, what do you do when you want to know something that you don’t know about? JFGI !! Just Freaking Google It. That’s exactly what I started doing. Google the reviews for the best restaurants near me. Before this, I was a contributor in just Open Source Software. Now I wanted to be a contributor in Open Source Reviews as well. Thus began the journey of Ishaan, the local guide. The first ever review being of Tim Tai restaurant because of the amazing combination of food and ambiance they provide. Since then, I’ve contributed towards many restaurants, clubs, some malls and super markets. From Starbucks to Tata Star, now I contribute in all the places, I visit. But my main focus is still the student community who are generally less on money and eager on mouth.
