Jewish Passover starts tomorrow

Tomorrow we start celebrating a week long holiday of Passover. Few only know that the Christian holiday of Easter is celebrated every year according with the Jewish calendar (Lunar calendar - by the moon), that is why the date of Easter keeps changing. It is believed that the Last Supper was the traditional Passover Meal.

Jewish day starts upon sunset, Shabbat and Holidays are celebrated the eve before the day. This year Passover is Saturday, April 20 - therefore we celebrate it on the evening of the 19th.

As a Jerusalemite - We do our holiday shopping at the open air market - Machane Yehuda and that is a very unique place, as it operates around the clock - day market and night -the place for partying.
