Today I am going to share a traditional dessert recipe of the Indian state of West Bengal.
Jayanagar Moa is a popular seasonal recipe. It is made with date palm jaggery (নলেন গুড়ের) and Kanakchur khoi (কনকচুর খই). This recipe is originated from West Bengal. Jaynagarer Moa is available during winter season only__.This variety of Moa originated in Jaynagar of the South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.__Jaynagarer Moa was given a Geographical Indication tag in 2015.
So let’s see how to cook Jaynagarer Moa :
Ingredients :

Kanakchur khoi 100 gm.

Palm jaggery (নলেন গুড়) 100gms.

Condensed milk 1/2 cup.

Cashew nuts.
-
Raisin.
-
Pistachio.
Method :
• Take a frying pan add palm jaggery, condensed milk and water half glass.
• Then add raisin, pistachio and Cashew nuts.
• Make a paste.
• Then add Kanakchur khoi (puffed rice).
• Stir continuously.
• Then make round shaped like a small ball with both hands.
• Now ready to serve.
