Japanese food: Gyoza Stadium

Themed restaurant abound in the Land of the Rising Sun. One such place is called Gyoza Stadium. Here you can try over a dozen different kinds of dumplings, one of Japan’s most popular comfort foods. The original gyoza stadium used to be in Osaka, but now it is located in Ikebukuro. My favorite are the shrimp gyoza and the shiso gyoza.

Hi, @user_not_found Happy new year;-)

I’d like to go there!

Hey @user_not_found ,

Thank you for sharing this tasty pictureс with the community! Is this the place you shared : Gyoza Stadium?

My favorite is yaki gyoza or fried gyoza with shrimp filling or meat! Here in Bulgaria we also have Asian restaurants, so now, after your post I will go to eat!

Hi @user_not_found ,

Gyoza is one of my favourite Japanese comfort foods, too. This place looks like a must-visit!

Thank you for the mouth-watering photos.

@DeniGu Thank you for your comment. When was the last time you ate gyoza?

Hi @user_not_found ,

The last time I had gyoza was a few months ago, but that was in a Japanese-style restaurant in Bulgaria. Unfortunately for me, I haven’t had Japanese gyoza since 2017.

I’m definitely planning to visit Japan again soon, and enjoy it all - gyoza, soba, curry udon, everything!

What’s your preferred Japanese dish?

@DeniGu Since 2017, wow. I think you should try soup(less) ramen here next time you return to Japan.

Oh wow, @user_not_found , thanks so much for this recommendation!

Wish I knew about it when I was studying at the Tokai University Shonan campus nearby, but now there’s no chance I miss trying it out.

That soupless ramen is a-ma-zing. Have one for me next time, please!

@DeniGu When are you back in Japan?

What’s your next travel destination?

@DeniGu Can you make gyoza from scratch?
