January Highlights

Hi guyys!!

How was last month so far?

I encourage you to share your most memorable experience for the month of January here.

It could be a nice evening with someone, being a volunteer at a charity program or going on a trip abroad.

My January Highlight:

I went out for dinner with my 2 friends in a small restaurant in Cebu.

We weren’t very close yet when we took this photo but after this night we became sisters. LOL

Hi @GraceBiano ,

I really like your idea for January highlights!

I had a similar dinner with two of my best friends. I don’t have them in my photos because we were all focused on the food. As you can see, we’ve tried biryani and a dish with curry and lentil. Everything was delicious so it is now my favorite restaurant in the area. This is my highlight.

Cheers,

Marin

Hi @BishowvijayaP ,

Actually the place we have visited was Nepal restaurant. A week after, I went to Indian restaurant with some other friends and saw that the dishes and menu are very similar.

So is there a difference between Nepal and Indian cuisine and what is it?

Thanks,

Marin

Thank you so much @GraceBiano .

@MarinSt , there is a cultural tie between Nepal and India. This tie and open border is helping the transferring of variety of materials between the countries. Many people from India are doing cloth and food business in Nepal. Some foods are related to festivals also.

I have listed some food with Nepalese origin. I hope you will like them.
