Jakarta Capsule Hotel

Hotel with budget price and minimalist space room but the convenience and cleanliness is above standard.

Usully for solo traveller, backpacker or goverment officer or businessman who only need overnight accomodation and do not need larger room that provided by conventional hotels.

Amenities of Capsule Hotel

• Male and female are seperate room and chamber.
• One capsule room consist of two stacked chamber side by side, with steps providing to access the second level of chamber.
• A chamber or capsule roughly have a length and widt of a single bed.
• Sufficient height for sitting and to crowl on the bed
• Capsule and doors are made of fiberglass.
• Every chamber has :
  • Small flat television with arround 50 channels.
  • An electric console and power socket
  • Headset
  • Dim light
  • Reading light
  • blanket and pillow
  • Mineral Water
• Door of Chamber is a sliding door to open and close, can be locked from inside
• Toilets, shower, wastafel are communally shared.
• Small restaurant for breakfast, linch and dinner
• Lounge to meet with guest with televisi and little table to put drink and snack.

How strategic the Capsule Hotel can be explain that various public trransportation can be reach just by walk about seven to nine minutes.

• Airport Train to Jakarta International Terminal and Domestic.
• Commuter Line Network that cover Jakarta, Bekasi, Tangerang, Depok and Bogor.
• Massive Rapid Train, that reach any business offices

Gran Indonesia Mall, Hotel Kempinski, many foreign Embassy also can be reach by walk.

I just knew that there’s a capsule hotel in Jakarta out of the international airport. It must be fun to stay in a “capsule”. Is there any capsule that can accommodate more than one person?

I visit this capsule hotel twice, for more than two hours, meet the Manager.

I planned to stay overnight if there a re business meeting somewhere near this capsule hotels.

Until this moment the commuter line network and the massive rapid train is help me to go home everyday .

Both transportation mode is works until late night .

Offcourse before Pembatasan Sosial Berskala besar (PSBB - Large scale Social Restriction).

Is it great to have a capsule hotel in the middle in Jakarta ?

The chamber is for one person only.

But if you go with friends, you can book in the same room but different chamberca.

You shoud try after Pembatasan Sosial Berskala besar (PSBB - Large scale Social Restriction) is over.

Sleep at the capsule and do Car Free Day walk in the morning.

Its sound proofing, it will be very annoying to hear your next chamber snooring.

In the capsule hotel is baily based.

There another kind for hourly baseis , at Jakarta International Airport.

The capsule is look like he helicak space, a public transportation years ago in Jakarta.

Like a massage chair that you can find in mall with full cover, the chair can be setting horisontally become a bed.

The price may vary from low season to high season.

Lucky for us having Google Maps, so the Management of the hotel always updating it.

Customer only pay what they needed.

Market niche is very segmented, but there are customer who need hotel like this.
