Jaflong The Beauty of Sylhet - Sudden Trip

Last week I went to Jaflong, my home area, and met some of my childhood friends. Jaflong is located in the Gowainghat police station (Upazilla) in Sylhet district. Jaflong is an amazing creation of natural beauty. Places of interest include Jaflong Zero Point, Dawki Hanging Bridge, Jaflong Sangram Punji Jharna / Mayabati Jharna, Khasia Punji, Jaflong Tea Garden, Dawki River, Jaflong BGB Camp, Sreepur Picnic Spot, Sreepur Tea Garden, Adhuri Jhargana Sreepur, Tamabil Zero point border, etc.

Below are some pictures of Jaflong, including Dawki River, Jaflong Bridge, and Amir Mia High School & College, the only college in Jaflong.

How to go:

From Sylhet Kadamtoli Bus Station to Jaflong Bus Station

Bus Fare:

1. 120/- (Gate lock Bus Direct Sylhet to Jaflong)

2. 75/- (Normal Local Bus)

Bus service is good for go Jaflong otherwise you can go with CNG or reserved CAR (their fare is too high approximately 1500-2000/-)

In Jaflong, there was a moment of meeting with my childhood friends and a friendly match was held on the Amir Miah High School & College field.

শেষবার জাফলং গিয়েছিলাম ২০০৯ সালে। অসাধারণ একটি জায়গা। যদিও এতদিনে হয়তো অনেকটাই পরিবর্তন হয়ে গেছে। আপনার পোস্ট দেখে সেই স্মৃতি মনে পড়ে গেল।

সিলেট এমন একটি জেলা, যে খানে একবার যাওয়ার পর ও মন ভরে না। আমি সিলেট মোট ৪ বার গিয়েছিলাম। আমার এখন ও যেতে ইচ্ছে করে। অনেক গুলো প্রাকৃতিক স্থান আছে,যা গুরে দেখতে ১০ /১২ দিন সময় লাগবে।

Jaflong is one of those many places in Bangladesh that no matter how many times you go there, it will always seem to be a new place. It’s natural beauty and the serenity will simply blow your mind. I have been to Jaflong so many times but I never got over it. After reading your post, now I feel like going there once again. Thank you for sharing the pictures @SabbirShawon . The pictures came really good, especially the first picture. It looks like the path is calling me, “tumi jabe bhai, jabe mor shathe…”
