Everyone has a taste; our preferences change with respect to time. Most times, circumstances surrounding our lives also change with time. Time, however, is an entity that when lost or misused can never be regained. Likewise, time and location have a great influence on what our choices are, also our ‘favourites’.
Money, on the other hand, is a commodity that people want to get the best for when it is spent. This understanding dawned on me when I travelled from my home city where my favourite shopping mall, restaurant, place of worship and so on were to a new location, and I realised that my major concern, what I could call my favourite at that instance, was where I could get the best for my time and money. Therefore, wherever I could get the best for my time and money automatically becomes my favourite place. This, I have realised does not only apply to me but to as many as I interacted with. Also, I realised that people don’t mind spending money if they are certainly going to get the best product and services worth the amount spent.
Therefore, this understanding of the changing nature of our favourite places according to location and time, and the need to get the best products and services for our money irrespective of our location, drives my passion to influence everything, places, on the google map to achieve that purpose.
My passion, therefore, is to give the best and relevant review of places, irrespective of what it is (because that would be somebody’s favourite someday). I am also delighted to influencing everything possible on the google map to the end that through the map, people can arrive at their favourite places.
The reason why I give detailed reviews, edit, add new places or find fact about every place on the Map is because of the variability and changing nature of our favourite places with respect to time and location. Also, people don’t mind traveling far away for example to get their favourite burger or patronising an expensive shopping mall in other to get their quality and favourite wears and I wouldn’t mind lodging at an expensive hotel if it offers me what I want.
My job therefore is to make detailed reviews, edits, find facts, add or create new places on the Map that achieves this singular purpose (of making people get the best for their time, money or resources).
