I have admired a Sailing Ship for the longest time but I have never had a chance to be on one.
I took the Photo of this Sailing Ship in an Interior Decorator’s shop in Trade Fair, Lagos, Nigeria. I could not add the Business to Maps, because the owner was absent, I met only the Assistant. To support her, I uploaded some decorative pieces from her shop to my own website.
Of all the pieces, I could not but stop to admire this Sailing Ship
, especially after editing it! I hope I get to not only see one but be in one sometime soon.
I saw a Sailing Ship up close for the first time on Izumi’s page. I was thrilled

The beautiful Izumi @Izumi realizing I knew only little about this pretty, multifunctional and multidynamic Sailing Vessel, took her time to;
- Educate me about the Sails
- Return to the same site (The Nippon Maru Memorial Park, Yokohama, Japan) to take even brighter photos for me
- Promised to take better photos of the same vessel in future when everything returns to normal
- And then expressed gratitude to me for making her share a photo ? Talk about the Educated expressing gratitude to the Ignorant! What Humility and Modesty?!
ありがとうございました, Izumi.
In the Sailing Ship/Boat Album, you will find a beautiful GIF image.
Has anyone here been on a Sailing Ship or Sail Boat? Will you be willing to share your experience and a Photo with me?
Thank you.

I hope so, the owner doesn’t live here in Nigeria.
Trade Fair is one of the two biggest international markets in Nigeria. There are a lot of procedures here. As big as this market is, you will rarely find photos of what it really looks like on the inside.
Where this shop is located, is on the ‘Private Plazas lane’, to get even one shop here, you need to have millions of naira, bot to talknof acquiring a Private Plaza, it costs a fortune!
Trade Fair has everything! Their Church, their security, their banks.
It is a thriving multibillion naira Business community. Often times, the Traders will tell you; “Trade Fair is already on Maps, you don’t need to add my shop, anyone that wants to buy something should come and meet me, I don’t know Google”
and according to Google’s rules, you know what to do.
