I was planning this all month to submit my application and post my video today, but I now see that I have made a HUGE mistake!
- I finally got over my fears speaking on video.
- Went to my favorite restaurant and braved the fact that I was sitting at a table recording myself speak into a camera (I’m sure the people next to me thought I was crazy)
- Put a video together and edited the audio to make my voice clear.
- Began to submit my application…until I hit a wall
The “apply now” button is clickable, but I can’t start my application. I was sure that if I submitted before midnight I would be fine, right?
Well…
Those three letters at the end “UTC” could render my efforts fruitless.
I understand that I may not even be one of the 200 selected local guides to attend Connect Live, But please allow me to submit my application today!
