Hi to every one, I’m Julio Cesar from Bolivia and a local guide since one year ago, now in level 6, and I want to share with you the reason why Local Guide program means to me growing, empowerment and solidarity.
Probably I’m not the most active Local guide in Bolivia, but I enjoy the program a lot, it impulses me to know new places, new people, new food, but I actually like to tell the people that I’m a Local guide from Google, before I begin with the food fotoshoting! Because the people are very grateful at the most cases and they tell you many things that you’ll never imagine from the place or the things you can find there, and that is how the Bunker Grill and Baris my favorite restaurant, I love to hear the stories of the things that they have hanging on the wall, things that maybe I never have known if I weren’t Local guide!

In the other hand I don’t consider my self as a good writer and worse yet a good photographer but I was always a lover of reading, and as I became a local guide I began to write little paragraphs of my opinion, and bit by bit they were increasing a lot, they were more expressive, more creative and I felt that I had a real impact in my society and that why I was inspired to go to other places and write a little review, I feel now a lot more in confident with my self and maybe I begin to write a little novel, but I will always remember that every thing began with a little review. And if we talk about the photos my first photos were terrible, but now I think they are much better, even if there is just a soup, or an entire family, I think I turned a good junior photographer, I realize that there are really nice sunsets in my city, that the paintings in the restaurants where more than just decoration and a well presented dish is the communication between the chef to you!

I love the program of Local guide because it forces me to get out of my confort zone and I hope I can learn and grow up as person with it as I did until now, thank u Google!
