It’s an honor to be a Level 5 Local guide, and now, I want to tell you why I love Local Guides program so much. 
To me, Local Guides program is a platform that everyone can exchange their opinions. Unlike Facebook, Instagram, you need to be famous so that others can see your posts. And the reviews on GOOGLE Maps are easily being seen by everyone, more importantly, they are relatively neutral. People write it with genuine affection, doesn’t like advertisement, only talks good side of that location. Therefore, those comments have more reference value.
When I plan to visit a restaurant or attractions, I’ll read some reviews first, then decide whether I want to go. I’m of the opinion that Local Guides Program it’s not just sharing, but also helping others, giving people some advises. Meanwhile those business owner can make some adjustment according to the reviews, I read the reviews about the diner where I work part-time at from time to time, it helps me understand what customers need or if they have questions.
It is a great honor to be a local guide. I deeply believe that we can influence the world through the comments, so we have responsibility to provide correct information and make the world more convenient. And every time when I saw my reviews are seen by lots of people, it gives me a great sense of achievement, makes me more motivated to share the places I have been.
