Hello everyone!
Today, September 21st, three festivities are being celebrated in Argentina.
One of them is Spring day . We celebrate the start of Spring by going to parks, gardens or other green areas and enjoying the sun while having a picnic and drinking Mate, a traditional drink similar to tea.
Another festivity celebrated today is Student’s day . These day, high-school and university students don’t have classes, so we get to celebrate the beggining of Spring with our friends!
As I’m sure many of you know, today is also International Peace day . In Buenos Aires, we can celebrate it by going to the Japanese Garden and hearing the Peace Bell being rung. You can read more about the garden and the bell in the recap of our recent photowalk in the garden.
Peace flags are also placed in every public organism building all over the country.
How is peace day celebrated in your country?
Do you also celebrate Spring day or
Student’s day in your country? If you do, in which day?
Are you celebrating another festivity today?
Please let everyone know in the comments!
