Is it common for an Italian people to say “delicious” when talking about Italian food outside Italy? Not much, Italian people don’t generally like their food when eaten outside Italy, mostly also because recipes get adapted to other tastes, just like it happens, for example, with Chinese cuisine, which gets adapted to Western taste. Maybe many Italian people reading my post would would think I am even joking, but here are the facts: the Italian “pasta with tomato sauce and burrata cheese” shown in the photo is really delicious! Even if, at the end, the cheese was a mozzarella, while burrata is a different cheese, so the mention “burrata” is wrong. But with such a delicious dish, with a tomato sauce tasting like in Italy, I think it is something forgivable!
