It would be nice if google could make the local guides connect more popular in bulgaria.I mean they help for reviews etc but if your talking about meetups with other local guides people it becomes impossible to do .Secondly it would be nice if google could become part of a volunteering group to clean up bulgaria for a day .There are organizations but sense Google wants the local guide program to be more popular they need to do something.

Hello @AspectOne have you tried creating local groups on a social media channel? That would be a nice starting point, then you can work on meet ups from there.

Nice to meet-you and welcome to Connect! My name is Cecilia and Iām from Argentina.
It seems that this is your first post here. If you want to introduce yourself you can do it in this thead Monthly Introduce Yourself. You will find there a lot of new and not so new Local Guides chatting and introducing themselves.
Google from time to time sends a newsletter by email to all the LGs in the world with links to connect. They do not organize meet-ups nor cleaning activities.
Meet-ups are organized by Local Guides on their own. I suggest you to organize a meet-up and try to spread the news with other people you know in Bulgaria, so others can join. Do not bother if no one show up at the first intent. It is hard to start forming a new community.
In my first meet-up no one showed up, but I went with my son and we spent a great day together.
Little by little I started to know others and now I know several local guides here in Argentina. You can read more about my experience organizing meetups in this post.
I organized my last meet-up last week. You can read about that in this post if you need some ideas.
Please do not be discouraged and keep trying! Eventually some other LG will join you and other and other.
