can anyone help me please?
My Local Guide level decreased by 1 step, from 8 to 7 and lost many points.
Here are the screenshots from July and Recent one.
Please fix my problem.

Still there is level 8 badge here in connect ID beside my Name, but in contribution I am being shown as level 7.

Regarding your issue, I can see that your number of reviews is incorrect. This is a known issue, and it is usually self solving.
Of course a technical issue is possible, but in any case I want to inform you about the most common reasons for points to drop:
- Answer removal: Points can drop depending of your setting for Google’s My Activity . Please read: How do I delete my answers to questions on Google Maps?
If on My Activity your setting is different from this one here below, your answer are automatically deleted on a frame window
- Points may be also deducted if your contribution is determined to be in violation of the content policy. Contributions that violate our policies do not count toward your Local Guides level.

Thanks for the reply. We are sometimes faced that type of problem. If we work on right way, we never lose you points. We should work on quality basic not only quantity.

Thanks for reaching out to us! I moved your message here in this conversation where other members with the same issue have found a solution.
As our Connect Moderator @ErmesT suggested, there could be many reasons for points dropping. Please keep in mind that if some of your contributions violates the content policy, the points immediately assigned are later removed and do not concur to the Local Guides level achievement.

Ciao @RobertoMorgan . Se posso aggiungere qualcosa a quello che ti ha correttamente indicato @Giu_DiB , credo che la ragione specifica per cui sono diminuiti i tuoi punti sia legata alle impostazioni di Google My Activity
Vedo infatti che hai Zero risposte, esattamente come in questo post, che ti suggerisco di leggere.
Se le tue impostazioni sono diverse da quelle che vedi qui sotto, le tue risposte vengono scollegate dal tuo profilo.
La tua impostazione di Google My Activity potrebbe essere stata già presente prima delle modifiche di Maps che, per aderire alle nuove leggi sulla privacy, deve fornire uno strumento per poter cancellare le proprie “tracce digitali”
Ovviamente, per poter essere attribuiti i punti, le risposte devono essere associate a un profilo. Rimuovendo il collegamento al profilo, i punti non sono più attribuibili.
