It does not work well

My chronology in google maps does not work well, since more than a month ago my Huawei P20 pro does not register my chronology, does anyone know why?

I have already reviewed my configuration several times, and everything is in order.
Something to do with the controversy between Trump and Huawei

Hi @OscarGFarell can you please explain your problem in simple language. I am using a Huawei my self which is new and I never had any issue, other than that I hope others will be able to assist for those who understand terms you used.

Hasta hoy la cronologia de google maps, me ha funcionado correctamente en mi Huawei P20 Pro, pero desde hace un mes, que no registra ninguna visita o ruta !

Hi @OscarGFarell restrictions on Huawei were only announced a few days ago and only affect new devices not existing devices. I’ve not seen any announcement about Maps, only about Play Store so far.

I would suggest this is more likely to do with your local settings or corruption of your local data store.

The first thing I would do is make sure Location services is allowed to Maps in the app settings and make sure your GPS is turned on (if you open Maps is the blue dot where you are?).

The second thing I would do is check that Location/Timeline is turned on following https://support.google.com/maps/answer/6258979?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid

Next make sure your local file store isn’t full.

If these things don’t resolve the problem clear the data and cache from the Maps App, then uninstall (this might just go back to factory) and then install/update Maps and try again.
