Don’t know if this has happened to other local guides but I have this experiences, whereby non of the streets I have edited has been approved. Adding places on the map is good enough and I get most of them approved but the “STREETS”. My own very street has a wrong name attached to it on the map and it can’t be changed. I have tried twice and no approval.
The other issue I have is a "BARCLAY BANK" that has been changed to ABSA. I have sent all the necessary information yet it can’t be edited. Please @Bobiisha can you kindly help on this issues.
Best regards.

Hi @SholaIB
Please note that streets can not be edited by Maps users.
Instead you can use these Steps to send feedback. And you need to attach very good (official) proof to be successful.
Editing banks and ATM are notorious for being hard to edit. Often it is because the banks are claimed, so your best bet is to contact the bank and let them know what they need to fix.
Sorry I couldn’t offer better help.

Hello @MortenCopenhagen
It’s good to know that now thanks. Well I guess it’s a limitation and it has to be accepted, that’s a pity really. Wonder are the local guides aware of these facts you mentioned or do you get past this limitations with time? Well not too sure if am ready for the step by step reports yet, nevertheless thanks for reply. I suppose it’s good to know when to give up and when to continue

Yes, @SholaIB
Letting go and knowing when to leave some problems to others is the best strategy against frustration when editing information on Google Maps.

Thank you @MortenCopenhagen
We will take it as settled then. Will concentrate on adding places that doesn’t do too bad at least you have most of the places approved. Places like supermarkets and pharmacies local shop etc.
We will need more clarity on map editing always and most of the meet ups don’t seem to address some of these crucial issues on map editing! Many thanks anyway glad for the chat.
