Don’t astonish to find a Christian church in Iran. Vank Cathedral in Jolfa Armenian quarter of Isfahan is a gorgeous mixture of Armenian and Islamic architecture. Armenians fled to Isfahan for asylum and safety after the Armenian genocide by the Turks, yet they remain there today.
