I am from Morocco, almost 5 years ago I participate as a local guide, is there any opportunity to participate as a moderator in Connet?

To become a Connect Moderator, you will need to consistently contribute to the community. There is no nomination form.

You can check who are currently Connect moderators on this list.

Check out their profiles on Maps and Connect to get an idea about what they have done to get selected.

Interested in becoming a moderator for Local Guides Connect? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Local Guides Level 5+ who actively and consistently contribute to Google Maps and Local Guides Connect, following our program rules and 5 cores values of Connect.
  • Friendly and respectful community members who help keep Connect a warm, welcoming and informative place with their knowledge, accuracy and tone.

There is no application or nomination process. Keep contributing and engaging with your fellow Local Guides and the Local Guides team will be in touch if you are selected.

I think you can start by the first point: following our program rules . Removing all the duplicates / redundant / taken from the web / not relevant photos will ,for sure help, if not to become a Moderator, at least to remain a Local Guide
